River View Garden Resort Monte Rio, Monte Rio

I had a lovely stay with my daughter for a school trip at this quaint motel. It may feel a bit outdated, but it had everything we needed, and Jay, the manager, was incredibly attentive and kind. The hotel offers a fantastic riverfront setting, which made for a truly relaxing experience. However, I found one room to be a bit quirky and less suitable for larger groups due to its layout.

Our stay was quite disappointing overall. The location is beautiful, right on the river, and the grounds are well-kept. However, the service was overbearing, the room had several issues, and we encountered numerous inconveniences during our visit. It felt more restrictive than relaxing, despite its potential as a nice getaway.
